  • Why would I hire your company for dispatching services?
The advantages of hiring Strength Logistics as your premier dispatching service helps you to focus on your trucking responsibilities, as opposed to stressing out about locating your next load. We also help to eliminate the annoying task of communicating with suppliers/brokers. Your time is valuable, and we strive to help you become more proficient while you're out there on the road.
  • Do you guys conduct credit checks on the brokers you work with?
Yes, our first method is utilizing private load boards that provide us with access to the broker's credit score, as well as the number of days to pay, which inevitably indicates how long the broker will hold your invoice before paying. Our second method would be using a factoring company to obtain a broker's credit.
  • What are some basic details in your Broker/Carrier agreement? What is the process getting started?
Typically, there will be a date, a name of the motor carrier, and the name of the customer in the spaces between the lines. Obviously, your DOT and MC numbers will need to be listed on this document as well. Generally, at the conclusion, we will be filling out the necessary information, such as your business name, address, printed name and title, phone numbers, email addresses, fax numbers, and any other information that the broker may want from you. We usually get a rate confirmation through email or fax as soon as you have completed the setup process with our broker.
  • How do you guys go about dispatching to a load?
Dispatching to a load is a rather straightforward procedure. After you’ve completed all of the necessary paperwork to schedule the cargo, dispatching our carrier is a smooth process. Following the booking of your shipment, the manner in which this dispatching process takes place is determined by our agreement with you. Both parties may have the understanding that you are driving a truck, and we may just need to provide the rate confirmation to you through email or fax. If you are unable to receive emails or faxes while on the road, we may try texting you or giving you a call.
  • Why do you offer the option of a % or a flat rate?
When we refer to a "Good load," we are referring to a good load for you, not necessarily a good load for us as a Freight Dispatching company. Why? Because in regards to charging a %, the highest earning load is the ideal load for us to work with. For example, with a single phone call, we may schedule a $15,000 shipment to Texas. We may earn $1,000 on the spot. That is fantastic, but you as our motor carrier would likely be unpleased with it, and for this you likely will not agree to pick up the slack. Conversely, if you choose our flat weekly rate, the very first load we call on may be the greatest for us since it will free up our time, allowing us to go on to other trucks or even simply leave the office for the day. That does not imply, however, that it is the most appropriate load for you. Which load is most appropriate for you? In order to properly answer this, we would most likely need to speak with you about the kind of freight you would desire. Some motor carriers are only motivated by the %, and they are only concerned with obtaining the best rate available. It is possible that other motor carriers are driven by the flat weekly rate. It is ideal for us to be aware that that you may not want to convey any large goods and are willing to reduce your rates in order to transport lesser cargoes.
